No other function is more important than the safety of our employees and those individuals with whom they work. Safety is continually stressed at all levels of the organization and permeates the employees' work environment. At the direction of the ITS Director of Safety, ITS employs a very successful safety program consisting of regularly scheduled meetings documented and entered into the safety observation database. This procedure enables us to identify and act immediately upon any program discrepancies. Terminal managers are required to correct any deficiency in a timely manner.
The constant effort to improve the quality of our safety program by reacting to all accidents/incidents through discipline, rule modifications, or personnel education has resulted in substantial occurrence reductions.
